“Often times, I think that we need to stop doing the work of education and we need to start to do the work of activation. Giving young people the tools, resources, skills, connections, they need to go out and soar. My version of liberation looks like us being happy. … I BELIEVE that we deserve full lives of abundance.
This toxic masculinity, this misogynistic culture that we’re in that says men do this and women do that does not honor the complexity of being a human who has experienced a multitude of situations and could never water all of that down to exactly one of two things.
My dream for the future is that no one’s gender identity or gender expression prevents them from achieving what they wanna achieve in their lives.
I see myself through this person because they exude liberation”.
